Ravelympics Winter 2010 - Let's get ready!

Team CF Knit & Hook is gearing up to get ready for the Ravelympics Winter 2010 Games! Signups for our team are currently underway, and we're recruiting our olympians, so sign up today!

The "official" event list is still yet to be determined by the Ravelympics committee so as soon as the "official" event list is ready Cate & Andi will be sure to let everyone know! Meanwhile, a tenative list is posted on our meetup.com site in order for our olympians to begin thinking about their project(s) for the games!

We will be holding a meetup very soon in regards to the Ravelympics and more information our olympians need to know!

2010 Year of the Slippers

Introducing..... 2010 - The Year of the Slippers!

We will be begin a KAL (knit along) on January 1st for our new charity theme focus!

Lapghans were the group's organizer's pick for anyone who might wish to burn a little stash!

Look for the KAL info on "slippers" on our meetup.com page beginning on January 1st.

A CAL (crochet along) on "slippers" will begin on March 1st in honor of Int'l Crochet Month!

We will continue to receive hats as well for newborns, preemies, and school ages!

3rd Annual Christmas Gift Exchange

This year's Christmas exchange featured "In the Kitchen." Our group members made items that normally would be used in a kitchen but with Christmas flair! Everyone did such a great job and it was fun to see what everyone had came up with!

In addition, everyone who came to our party received a copy of our holiday recipe collection book put together with our members favorite holiday recipes!

Last Charity Night of 2009

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our Year of the Hat 2009 campaign for our charity efforts! Your efforts are received with open arms and your work is wonderful !

Congratulations to our 2 door prize winners of the evening for their charity knitting and crocheting, Lil and Donna-Marie !

Holiday Feasting

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our 1st ever Holiday Recipe Collection ! It's being handed off to the printers tomorrow and soon you will have them in hand at the Christmas Kitchen Exchange Party on December 14th!
